Imowo MFB Will Continue To Scale Up Its Operations - Otunba Osibogun
The Chairman, Board of Directors, Imowo Microfinance Bank, Ijebu-Ode, Otunba (Mrs.) Adebola Osibogun, has reassured federal government representatives during a program at Awujale Palace that the bank will continue to scale up its operations to meet global standard.
Making her address during the Credit Corp program that was organized in partnership with the bank, Imowo's number one lady was of the opinion that the bank will continue to strive toward meeting up with the expectations of its customers, shareholders and the banking regulations.
Otunba Osibogun, during her address at the disbursement of the fifty tricycles to transporters, stated that the bank was established to provide succour to small and medium-scale businesses through soft loans which will further strengthen their business.
She maintained that the bank has over thirty thousand customers across Ijebuland with a mission statement to become a leading innovative service provider delivering seamless financial solutions.
She added that the bank was equipped with well-trained personnel that are passionate in bringing to reality the mission statement of the founding fathers of the bank.
Otunba Osibogun described the Credit Corp program as a valuable scheme that will reduce poverty in the society and further engage the youths productively and increase purchasing power. She explains that Imowo MFB is a financial institution that was established thirty years ago and the bank has continued to scale up its operations through digitalization rather than opening additional branches; this has reduced maintenance cost but further equipped the bank to have the necessary impetus to partner with relevant organizations in the country in a bid to add value to the system.
She reassured foreign organizations among other agencies of government that the bank would continue live up to expectation in providing financial solutions to the economically active poor and increasing its capital base to two billion naira in the nearest future.
